Food for Thought...one day temp assignments If you are looking for temp work it is always tempting to say NO to the one day, last minute assignment, stay in bed, go shopping or continue on with your day as planned. Sometimes, the humble one day assignment can turn into something much bigger. In the last couple of months we have had several occasions where the one day temp job has turned into a variety of things, from several call backs for more work, to a six month assignment and even a permanent role. Don't be so quick to reject an opportunity as you never know what it may lead to. |
